HOME – Welcome to History in Person!

Our goal is to celebrate the diverse voices of our shared stories. History in Person is the best way to immerse yourself in the true stories of our past, giving us insights so we can make better choices for our future.

There is a growing list of books published in the series History In Person.

In the next few weeks we will be launching a weekly video series. Every video will be linked to lesson plans to help teachers, professors, and home-school parents utilize these video excerpts to truly bring history to life. This also means we will be sharing student videos so you can not only see your peers perform, but there is an opportunity to submit your videos for a wider audience.

There is a set of dynamic learning modules with video links, text, study sheets and additional resources to help train the next generation of Young Chautauqua Scholars. This portion has been funded by the Colorado Humanities.

We are building a hub for folks to book live or virtual performances from some of the best Chautauqua Scholars touring the world today.

We will also feature links to in-person performances and celebrate the Chautauqua community with regular features on upcoming events.
